Names, addresses and contact details for individual parishes are available in the app, after signing in — there the directory can be searched by name, town or diocese.
About the directory
The directory follows the way the Church itself is ordered: country, then diocese or archdiocese, then the individual parish. For each parish it holds the name, the address and the town, and where it is known, the deanery it belongs to.
Most entries are not in Croatia but in the countries where the Croatian diaspora lives — Germany alone holds 10,496 of them. For a family that has just moved to a new town this is the fastest way to find the nearest church, and for those looking for Mass in Croatian, the nearest Croatian Catholic mission.
These pages carry figures only — how many entries each country and each diocese holds. The parish names, addresses and contact details open in the app, where the directory is searchable by name, town or diocese. A country gets a page of figures once it holds at least 20 entries.
Frequently asked questions
How many parishes does the directory cover?
22,174 parishes, chaplaincies and Croatian Catholic missions in 52 countries.
Why are no parish names or addresses shown here?
These pages carry only how many entries each country and diocese holds. The directory itself — names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail — opens in the app, after signing in.
Why do some countries have no page of their own?
A country gets its own page once it holds at least 20 entries. Fewer than that is listed in the overview, with the number of entries beside it.
Where does the data come from?
From publicly available lists of parishes and Croatian Catholic missions. A name, an address, a town and a diocese are facts, not authored content.
How do I find a parish if I don't know the diocese?
The search inside the app covers the whole directory by name, town or address, and ignores diacritics — "zupa sv. marka" finds the same as "Župa sv. Marka".
