Are my data and photos safe?
Yes. Photos are private and visible only to logged-in members, your data is GDPR-protected, and you can block and report inappropriate users.
How do I know the profiles are not fake?
Holymeet supports profile verification. A member takes a selfie performing a randomly assigned gesture — thumbs up, a hand on the heart, a peace sign and so on — and an admin compares it with their profile photos before granting the blue trust check. Because the gesture is chosen at random, an old or borrowed photo will not pass, which makes building a fake profile considerably harder. Only an admin ever sees the selfie, never other members, and it is deleted together with the account. You can also block and report any member.
How is it different from Tinder and similar apps?
