Step by step

1. 1

   Sign-up and profile

   • Register with your email and a password, then confirm your address with the link in the message you receive.
   • In the first steps add a profile photo and a few words about yourself and your faith — a profile with a photo and description gets far more attention.
   • Your name, gender and birth year cannot be changed after registration. You can change where you live once every 30 days.
   • Verify your profile with a selfie doing the assigned gesture. A verified profile gets a badge, so others know a real person is behind it.

   Discover — meeting people

   • Swipe a card right or tap the heart to like, swipe left or tap X if the person is not for you.
   • When you both like each other, it's a match and you can start writing.
   • A super like (Gold and Platinum) clearly shows that someone really caught your eye.
   • How many profiles you can like per day depends on your plan: Free 5, Gold 30, Platinum 50.

   Matches and messages

   • Messages arrive instantly, and you can see when the other person is typing.
   • You can also send a one-time photo — the other person can view it only once.
   • With Gold and Platinum you can send a short message with your like, even before you match.
   • If someone behaves badly, you can block them or report them to an admin from the conversation.

   Explore — faith every day

   • Prayer: prayer wall, rosary, prayer book, prayer reminder and the Way of the Cross.
   • Word and sacraments: the Bible, Mass nearby, confession guide, examination of conscience, Catholic calendar and saints.
   • Community: groups, gatherings, trips, pilgrimage companion, volunteering, parish search and My week.
   • Games and music: Christian games, a quiz, a music corner and live radio.

   Notifications

   • Holymeet tells you about new likes, matches and messages, and the prayer reminder arrives at the hour you choose.
   • In Settings → Notifications you choose which kinds of notifications you want.
   • For notifications on your phone, install the app to your home screen — on iPhone they only work after that.

   Plans

   • Free costs nothing and is enough to start: profile, Discover, messages with matches and the whole Explore section.
   • Gold adds more likes per day, super likes, a message with your like, the list of who liked you, plus online status and read receipts.
   • Platinum also adds who viewed your profile, daily picks, a passport for meeting people elsewhere and incognito mode.

   Safety and privacy

   • Profiles can be verified, and you can report suspicious users — an admin reviews every report.
   • When you sign up for an event, only the organiser and an admin see your name and contact.
   • You can pause your account in Settings, or delete it permanently on your profile (Delete profile).

   Install the app

   • Holymeet installs straight from the website — no app store, and it takes only a few megabytes.
   • Android: open holymeet.com in Chrome, tap ⋮ and choose “Install app”.
   • iPhone: open holymeet.com in Safari, tap Share and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
